Ready to build your dream home?  Let LNB Community Bank help make that dream a reality!

Our residential construction loans allow you customize and build your perfect dream home.  They are designed to provide you with convenience during the construction phase.  These loans have shorter terms, usually 6 or 9 months, to allow your payments to be interest only on the amount of the construction loan you have used.

Special Items Needed: A full set of blue prints, cost of construction breakdown, a copy of the contract with your builder, building specifications, septic plan approval, a copy of the builder’s license, a copy of the building permit, and a copy of the builder’s liability and comprehensive insurance policy.

Here’s how it works. Our program features a competitive interest rate during your home’s construction phase. Your only payments during construction will be the monthly interest on the amount drawn on your loan. Construction draws will be disbursed based on work completed and will be verified by a loan officer who will monitor the progress of your home’s construction.

Construction to Permanent Loans

Construction to Permanent loans are a unique loan type offered to qualified borrowers.  This is a one-time close option with 9 months of interest only payments followed by regular principal and interest payments.

You should consider a Construction/Permanent Mortgage if you:

  • Are ready to build a new home
  • Are contemplating a major addition to your new or existing home
  • Want the convenience of a single application and single appraisal for both the construction and permanent mortgage phases of your loan.

Be your own contractor

Wanting to build your own dream home? With a non-traditional construction loan from LNB, you can be!  Be your own builder and act as the general contractor.
